If no one 'checks in' beforehand, we may cancel or move the venue of the event without notice.

If a start time is shown the event will always take place ... but you may get wet...

There is no charge made by the Society for attendance at our meetings
(unless the venue has an entrance fee) which are open to all, .
These are clearly marked in the programme.
There may be car parking charges at some venues.
There is a charge for refreshments at our indoor meetings.

Meet at College Lake Visitor Centre Bulbourne Road, HP23 5QG (OS165 SP935139)
(parking charge for non BBOWT members). Lunch picnic or cafe before going to Aston

Dowding Park and the RAF Bunker

A morning walk round the park on the old RAF site followed by lunch and a tour of the Bunker at 1.30 pm.

One of the largest remaining fragments of Surrey heath.
The site supports a range of typical heathland wildlife.

The four reservoirs in close proximity with wildfowl and possible passage waders.

A visit to this famous Kent coast site.
With autumn migration in full swing, we will start off with some sea-watching
and then move inland to the nearby RSPB reserve where there are facilities.
(Charge for non-RSPB members). Warm clothing recommended. Picnic lunch.
